Sawadee Ka!!! Well after our big day yesterday of changing resorts, back to our favourite one, Q Signature, today has just been a chillin day.... It was great to just fall out of bed, make a coffee and sit out on the balcony and have a perfect beach and seaview and watch people strolling along the beach. No hurry to get into the swing of things, this is a holiday......better to relax and take things real slow, we have 2 weeks here.... heaven!!!!! Headed down to Siam restaurant here at the resort for some grazing on breakfast, too much to choose from so just haad a bit of everything. The weather here is really nice, warm & humid during the day with a fresh breeze at night. Samui is just off the mainland of Surrathani which has suffered the worst floods in the last week or so which washed away many villages with massive landslides, 100's & 1000's of villagers have lost everything and there are no Telethons here to raise money to help them out, its sad since they are giving whatever they can to help the folks of Japan out. Breakfast over and done with we took a walk along the beach to the family mart to get more water and mozzie coils (the mozzies are ferocious from the rain & floods) Choeng Mon beach never changes, its so peaceful, not crowded, heaps of restaurants and massage salas and everyone, locals and tourists alike are so friendly. Spent the arvo napping and relaxing. We were so relaxed we couldn't even be bothered going out for dinner so ordered room service instead. Will hit the markets and head into Chewang in the next couple of days to do a little shopping, need bathers as Rick and forgot to pack ours and since there are 2 pools here and a great beach we need them.
