Sawadee Ka! Hi everyone. We were up early today as we had a breakfast appointment with our Vacation club representative. We were picked up at 9.30am and headed of to the KC Resort for breakfast. Had a great time eating and chatting and decided to upgrade our vacation membership while we were there. That out of the way had to make a stop at Samui International Hospital to see a doctor about this excruitiating backpain I keep getting when I go to sleep at night, only had it since my last massage in Chiang Mai. The doctor took a wee sample and said there is no infection but the area around my kidneys is a little tender, he gave me some anti-inflamatory tablets and Nurofen and I have to go back to see him for a check up next week. While I was at the doctors Rick went to the dentist next door to see about having a couple of teeth pulled, he is on antibiotics for week and then Tuesday the dentist is going to rip out a couple for him. Its as cheap as chips here so may as well get it done while we are here. I just hope they are not the same pills he was on when we were backpacking around Thailand, he had to go off those because he was a not very nice person on them and I was going to finishing the trip without him. Hope they are different pills this time!!!!! All of that out of the way it was late afternoon and we were buggered. Headed back to Q Signature and then headed off along the beach to a little restaurant we frequent whenever we are here for a delicious dinner of Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Glass noodle soup and chicken and cashews, fresh and tasty. Strolled back along the beach to our resort and bed, I was exhausted. Lucky us. Since we have now upgraded our vacation membership (as we do everytime we come here) I asked if we could upgrade for our last week here to a Pool Villa with our own private pool, and we got it at no charge, Free! Woo Hoo! So Saturday we move from our studio apartment into our own private villa with our own pool. Maybe we don't need bathers now! lol Tomorrow night is the start of Songkran Festival (Thai New Year) and it goes for 3 days, lots of celebrations and water throwing everywhere in Thailand, fireworks and anything and everything Can't wait!!!! We are really looking forward to it so will take lots of photos & video. Tomorrow will be another 'Chill Out' day in readiness for Songkran. Until then! Kob un Ka!
